Executive search is used for middle to senior management positions
where the required skill set can only be found in a limited number
of companies or it is inappropriate to advertise because the appointment
is of a sensitive nature. In times of increasing skill shortages,
this is the only way to target and attract candidates of the appropriate
calibre.
We differ in our approach to many consultancies by having an in-house
research team which works integrally with the consultants. Fresh
research is conducted for each assignment examining specific organisations
and individuals that are relevant to the client's business. The
process is as follows:
Source List: Following an initial brief, the research team will
put together a list of suitable target organisations within an appropriate
geographical area.
Identification: Individuals at the correct level are identified,
contacted in confidence and assessed on their suitability and intention
to move. The client receives a list of candidates for approval in
order to identify those known to be of the right calibre and to
discount those known unsuitable (from previous contact etc).
Candidate Assessment: The consultant will interview all candidates
that are deemed appropriate. We provide full interview reports consisting
of, an individual appraisal of the candidates, their experience,
qualifications and abilities, the candidates' resume and a copy
of the psychometric analysis report.
Short-list: From our interview process, the most suitable candidates
will be short-listed and recommended to meet our client. We will
arrange and manage this process, normally to take place at the client's
premises or, alternatively, at a confidential location if required.
To conclude the process, we will assist in making an offer to the
chosen candidate and the negotiation of these terms. We can also
help in obtaining suitable references.
